This position will not only be responsible for implementing new solutions and managing projects, but also assisting with our senior team with some mentoring our lower level engineers. What we do? Think of us as a “boutique” full-service IT Consulting firm, that offers services in three major areas; Infrastructure – Development – and Hosting. Each department within our boutique provides custom solutions specifically designed for the needs of our clients.
Technical Requirements: (applicants should have at least 5 of the following) Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network / Systems integration and administration Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching) Extensive experience with our core focus areas:
Microsoft Server - 2003, 2008, 2012 Exchange Server - 2003, 2007, 2010 Virtualization technology knowledge (Hyper-V & VMware implementation) SAN Storage Solutions Cisco Products / Technology (a plus)
ASA Firewalls (including VPN) Routers and Switches Wireless site survey/implementation
Firewalls – Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWALL, etc. System backup and disaster recovery solutions – Barracuda, Veeam , Symantec Hardware knowledge for HP/Dell workstations and servers
Cloud computing solutions (Office 365, Google Apps) Knowledge of Microsoft SQL maintenance and management operations Experience with Data Center planning / managing (a plus) Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (a plus) Consulting Skills Required: Provide superior customer service at all times, both internal and client-facing. Provide consulting and pre-sales support to our sales team, interfacing with clients to gather business and technical requirements and then translate them into appropriate solutions with accurate cost estimates. Design, plan, install, configure, migrate to, support and document, independently and/or as part of a team, best practice solutions to meet current and future business and technical requirements of our clients using solutions from Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Dell, Apple, VMware, Citrix, Symantec, Fortinet, and others. You have good verbal and written communication skills. A desire to mentor, coach, and motivate our team. A passion for technology, and desire to stay current on industry trends. You enjoy working in a fast paced, evolving, and dynamic environment. Your Personal Values or Beliefs: You tend to learn new stuff on your own, often before everyone else. You’re a builder – you love to design and build client solutions and see live in action. You believe multi-tasking and balancing multiple projects at the same time is a “no-brainer.” You’re not afraid to go to the boss and share your ideas for improvements in your department or anywhere else in the company. You believe that your family comes first and want to work with like-minded people. Certification(s) in one or more of the following is a plus: Microsoft, Citrix, Fortinet, SonicWall, VMware and/or Hyper-V.
We offer a competitive benefits package to all our employees and the starting salary for this position is based on the number of "technical requirements" (listed above) that the applicant has. Salary range can vary from $90K - $115K depending on experience.
This is a field position, which means a valid driver’s license and verified car insurance is required for employment.
