Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Network Engineer!
The selected candidate will provide technical support for planning, designing, maintaining, and integrating network infrastructure across LAN/WAN systems, contributing to edge networking architecture. Strong communication and technical expertise, with extensive experience in large environments, are essential. CCNA and CCNP certifications (or higher) are preferred, though hands-on experience will also be considered.
Duties: Install, configure, and manage network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, SD-WAN, wireless, and cellular devices). Troubleshoot and resolve network issues using industry tools, collaborating with users and vendors. Assist with LAN/WAN design, bandwidth analysis, and capacity planning. Support deployments, upgrades, and change management. Participate in Service Now trouble ticket resolution and ensure proper documentation. Provide tier 2 support during widespread incidents. Identify and troubleshoot complex network problems. Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions for network optimization. Ensure networks meet security requirements. Document network configurations and create Visio diagrams. Support remote IT and agency staff with network-related issues. Maintain knowledge of routing protocols, monitoring tools, and automation.
