Paralegal

Sioli & Associates is a busy AV-rated litigation firm seeking a skilled and proactive Paralegal to join our team and support our attorneys in delivering high-quality defense services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal procedures and documentation, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys in all aspects of case management, from initial investigation to trial preparation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties/tasks:

Meets with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.

Draft legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and discovery.

Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys.

Interviews clients and witnesses and prepares summaries of their statements.

Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.

Assists attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings.

Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
