Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a

CORPORATE TRANSACTIONAL AND/OR TRADEMARK PARALEGAL for our client's West Palm Beach, FL office.

Job Description

Under the general supervision of assigned attorneys and the practice group leader, the paralegal will be assigned to work primarily on specific cases/transactions/asset portfolios or to support attorneys whose practice involves specific areas of law.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Online investigation, research, and due diligence Prepare, file, and manage online government filings and completion and tracking of status and correspondence with US and international government agencies Draft correspondence and reporting to clients Prepare drafts of contracts and legal documents, including licenses and letters Prepare, manage, and update status reports Project coordination and management among team members Participation in the development of client presentation materials Work with support staff departments and other offices of the firm, as well as serve as primary contact for the day-to-day project maintenance Conducting research and analysis to support transactional work Collaborating with attorneys to ensure the successful completion of client matters This position is entirely onsite. Qualifications :

A BA or BS degree is strongly preferred. Must be able to work closely as part of a team. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a transactional and/or corporate paralegal. Experience with IP licensing, trademarks, and copyrights is a plus. Candidates should possess exceptional attention to detail and high-level organizational & time-management skills. Proficiency in document drafting and document management preferred. Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate flexibility regarding client and legal team requests. Achieve a high level of productivity. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
