Job Summary: Consultation Liaison Psychiatrists at an Allina hospital provide psychiatric care for individuals experiencing complex mental health care needs during their medical admission. The team is closely aligned with the Mental Health & Addiction Clinic Service Line across the Allina Health system.

Strong candidates will have an interest in aligning treatment medically and psychiatrically with complex patients, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and connecting across levels of care.

Key Position Details: Job Description: Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care. Provides psychiatric services to a diverse patient population. Develops behaviorally-focused, outcomes-based treatment plans of care that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
