What we do: GroupeSTAHL is a leading international manufacturer, distributor and direct supplier in the field of custom textile printing.
What you'll be doing: GroupeSTAHL is looking for a dedicated Web Analyst with 5-7 years of website reporting and analysis experience. Deep Google Analytics 4 knowledge is key, with the ability to utilize and develop other reporting tools such as Matomo. The right person will be certified in Google Analytics 4 and very technical in their experience using this software for large companies. Also important will be knowledge of obtaining data from other sources, such as SQL databases, PPC advertising accounts, Social Media accounts, etc., then creating detailed reporting from that data in combination with GA4. Experience developing and troubleshooting tracking code implementations is also very important. Javascript coding and ecommerce datalayer development is a big plus. In addition, experience developing and using Google Search Console, Google Merchant Center, Google Looker Studio, and paid versions of toolsets such as SEM Rush, Conductor, Reporting Ninja, and others will be important. Ability to procure relevant data regularly and turn that data into detailed, understandable report documents (Looker Studio, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) with valuable insights will be required.
Essential Functions
Responsibilities: •Identifying trends across KPI's and leveraging data into actionable strategic planning. •Provide reporting and analysis of performance by website, campaign, segment and channel to identify optimization opportunities for all GroupeSTAHL websites. •Proactively provide recommendations for potential projects based on strategic insights and analysis. •Manage multiple Google Analytics 4 accounts across multiple web properties and brands. •Manage Google Search Console. •Develop and manage Matomo properties for several websites. •Manage A/B and multivariate testing performance and data. •Assist with reporting and recommendations for SEO projects across several brands. •Address alerts and notifications for both Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. •Setup tracking capability for ecommerce, websites, and marketing campaigns and ensure GA4/other tools are tracking all activity. •Manage Google Tag Manager Containers across multiple websites. •Make sure Global GA4 tracking code snippets are installed optimally across all sites. •Assist in using SEO tools to track valued keywords/brand terms and find opportunities to improve rankings for these keywords. •Stay up to date on latest changes in the Web Marketing industry and in web analytical best practices. •Proactively identify, respond to, and resolve issues and risks, and provide quality assurance across GroupeSTAHL brands. •Utilize existing SQL databases to query and obtain data then utilize that data to create detailed reporting. •Develop and optimize reporting sources, both new and existing, such as Matomo, Looker Studio, SEM Rush, and others. •Create detailed reports using these data sources in relevant formats (Looker Studio, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for internal distribution and collaborate with other Web Marketing teams to implement recommendations.
Knowledge, skills and abilities: •Analytical - Enjoys creating spreadsheets of data and detailed reporting to understand what drives performance. •Very Technical - Interested in writing code, troubleshooting implementations, and web development (JavaScript for example). •Scientifically-Minded - Enjoys testing new ideas, analyzing results, experiments with changes to find success. •Passionate - Motivated and competitive. A talent for balancing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines. Strong sense of urgency. •Resourceful - A self-starter and loves to learn new things on their own (be self-taught). •Organized and Detailed - Likes to be structured and organized.
Qualifications / Education and Experience: •Bachelor degree in Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. •Google Analytics 4 Certification. •5-7 years of experience using Google Analytics. •5+ years of experience with database reporting. •5+ years of SEO toolset experience is a plus. •5+ years of experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Looker Studio. •Experience using web testing tools is a plus •Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. •Working knowledge of tracking code implementations, ecommerce tracking, datalayers, HTML and Javascript. •Experience with Matomo, SEM Rush, and Conductor a plus.
