We are seeking a
Head of People
to lead and oversee our People Operations. This strategic and hands-on leader will play a critical role in enhancing our organizational culture, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance, and driving our talent acquisition efforts. This position will focus on creating an employee-centric environment that supports engagement, development, and organizational success. Your Role and Impact: Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Handle sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and fairness. Provide solutions to improve intra- and inter- department performance,ensuring alignment with firms values and goals. Compensation & Benefits Research: Conduct market research to develop competitive compensation and benefits packages. Provide insights and recommendations to ensure the firm remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain and update employee policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and organizational goals. Talent Acquisition: Lead and optimize the recruitment process to attract top talent across all departments. Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals and culture. Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Communicate benefits offerings effectively to ensure employees maximize their value. Organizational Culture: Enhance the firms organizational culture, ensuring alignment with core values and mission. Develop programs and initiatives that foster engagement, belonging, and professional growth. Your Skills and Expertise: A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred. 5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with expertise in employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proven track record in talent acquisition and developing successful hiring strategies. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strategic thinking with the ability to implement practical and scalable solutions. Experience shaping organizational culture and driving employee engagement initiatives. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making. Bilingual (Spanish) is a significant advantage.
