Implementation Consulting Lead

Markit North America, Inc. seeks an Implementation Consulting Lead in New York, NY to architect end-to-end solutions using Enterprise Data Management (EDM) core data processing components and SQL to deliver a clean master copy of data. Participate in discovery sessions to understand the current state of clients' data management processes. Discuss data workflows to assess the scope of each project. Produce detailed project plans, effort estimation reports, and estimates of the overall cost of the implementation. Build user interface allowing end users to interact and perform business operations with mastered data. Implement export solutions to integrate with external and client systems, develop reconciliation solutions for data verification, and automate end-to-end solutions by configuring EDM services. Engage in peer reviews to ensure best practices are followed while configuring solution, including performing unit testing of configured logic or solution to ensure it is in line with documented business requirements. Fix issues reported by testing team, including debugging and fixing user interface and backend issues, deploying the fixes, and performing regression testing. Resolve issues reported by clients post Go-Live and work on change requests to add to/update existing logic/solution. Work with cross functional teams including pre-sales, product, hosted managed services, and training teams to perform impact analysis for future changes. Create and maintain design documents. Provide consultancy to clients for business improvements. Investigate and document existing procedures. Discuss proposed solutions for complex systems with customers. Make recommendations for implementation of new systems and technologies where appropriate. Serve as a team lead of technical consultants on projects, including assigning and reviewing tasks. * Telecommuting permitted within normal commuting distance of New York, NY officeRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related IT field plus five (5) years of experience as a Database Architect, Implementation Engineer, or related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Working on Enterprise Data Management (EDM) product functionality; SQL skills including writing complex queries; database skills, including database indexing concepts and improvement of query performance; guiding clients in implementation of Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies; working with infrastructure components supporting product deployment; and producing target state operating models and architecture.The anticipated base salary range for this position is $179,982 to $250,300. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications.
