What We Need:

The Safety Solutions Product Specialist is responsible for implementing and executing marketing and sales strategies for the Brad y Safety Services offering. This person works closely with safety services field operations, solutions owners and channel management to implement and maintain the value proposition around Safety Solutions incorporating product lifecycle management and marketing requirements to meet customer expectations.

What You'll Be Doing:

Developing a comprehensive knowledge base of major market segments.

Executing plans to improve the VWS sales team effectiveness via joint sales calls and sales effectiveness training.

Providing sales support by becoming a subject matter expert on Brady’s Safety Solutions offering.

Assisting in planning and executing to further penetrate key distribution targets via p rogram development and distributor sales training.

In conjunction with Strategic Account Management Team and Safety Solutions Product Manager, develops and executes plans to gain incremental market share with targeted focus end user accounts; both key verticals and targeted national end users.

In conjunction with Services Strategic Account Management Team and Safety Solutions Product Manager, develops and executes Master Service Agreements and / or long term business relationships with strategic long term customers.

Primary owner during the process of onboarding new direct business customers - including, vendor setup, payment, and contract negotiations, including NDA’s.

Co-develops and ensures execution of Services marketing plan.

Partnering with marketing communications on marketing materials, press releases and launch plans consistent with established value propositions.

Supporting Channel Management by promotion and/or presentation of Brady’s Safety Solutions to key distributors of Brady product and services.

Fields web leads and opportunity qualification.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, EH&S, Marketing, Business, or relevant business experience

Minimum of 2 years of sales, marketing or product management experience

Up to 15% travel

Decision making skills to determine the most important initiatives and the drive to push them to completion

Demonstrated excellence in communication and influencing others

Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize daily and weekly tasks

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and / or Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP) preferred, but not required
