Quona is seeking a dynamic Investor Relations (IR) Associate to support our investor engagement, fund formation, and ESG efforts. This role offers a chance to be part of a high-growth, mission-driven venture capital firm with a global presence. Working closely with senior leaders, including the Head of Investor Relations and Chief Operating Officer, you'll gain first-hand exposure to the processes that drive fundraising, investor engagement, and ESG strategy at an institutional level.
As a core member of the IR and Operations team, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with top-tier institutional investors, support the development of fund materials, and play a key role in Quona's commitment to transparency, operational excellence, and impact reporting. This role sits at the intersection of venture capital, ESG, and emerging markets — offering exposure to multiple areas of the business while developing valuable technical and communication skills.

Investor Relations (IR) and Operational Support (80% of role): Deliver best-in-class service to our Limited Partners (LPs), managing due diligence requests and routine investor questions and communications, in close collaboration with the IR team Lead quarterly LP Advisory Committee meeting preparations and reporting by managing invitations and interim deadlines, preparing materials with input from deal teams and portfolio associates, and documenting meeting details. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Operations and Finance teams, to support investor-related deliverables and ensure alignment with broader firm objectives. Support business development by researching potential investors and identifying key contacts within target organizations, among other lead generation tasks. Maintain and update fund marketing presentations and other data room materials Assist in the coordination of on-site operational due diligence meetings with LPs and support fundraising efforts through investor database research (e.g., Pitchbook). Support legal negotiations with investors, manage the fund close process (tracking investor progress, managing subscriptions, and coordinating with legal counsel and fund administrators). Maintain the firm’s CRM (Affinity) to track investor interactions and maintain data integrity, ensuring accurate, up-to-date information that supports strategic investor engagement and decision-making. Manage strategic and administrative contacts, and handle ad hoc investor requests, aligning with Quona’s vision of transparency and excellence in IR. ESG and Fund Governance (20% of role): Support implementation of Quona’s ESG risk mitigation policy by training and overseeing investment team members on Quona’s ESG policies and procedures (ESG diligence and monitoring of investments), and development of ESG reporting to investors. Complete ESG screening report for all new investments, assign risk rating (in consultation with COO).
Manage annual ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting process. Manage – in close coordination with Quona’s COO – other reporting, governance and legal obligations to investors under its various fund/vehicle documents and investor side letters, and handle delivery of such obligations. Requirements Desired Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field. 2-4 years prior experience in investor relations / client service within financial services is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail and quality control. Technical proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, cloud-based file management (e.g., Box), CRM systems (e.g., Affinity), investor databases (e.g., Pitchbook), and familiarity with AI-assisted research tools. Exceptional attention to detail, strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment. Professional, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements to operational processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, personable, and collaborative "roll up your sleeves" mentality. Nice to Have Understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting processes, and exposure to emerging markets, venture capital, or ESG-focused investments. Passion for supporting a mission-driven organization and being part of a hardworking, collegial, and global team.
