Responsibilities As a Test Automation Engineer at GUARD, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment working with Software Developers, Business Analysts, and Quality Analysts to test and deploy business processes throughout the organization. You will be a key member of our team that ensures our system meets business and technical requirements. Your work will be focused to a specific development team with the goal of delivering a quality product that meets Quality standards.

Responsibilities :

Designing and implementing automated testing solutions for software applications with an emphasis on custom applications.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements.

Executing and/or assisting with automated test scripts and analyzing results to identify defects.

Identifying and documenting software defects and inconsistencies.

Investigating problems in software as an outcome of test automation.

Researching, evaluating, configuring, and implementing new tools.

Participating in test planning, estimation, and review processes.

Qualifications A bachelor's degree in computer science, or Software Engineering is strongly preferred. Other specialties, certifications or relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Technical Skills (Required):

Minimum five years of experience developing Test Automation frameworks and tools (ex: Selenium, Katalon, SoapUI, MSTest, and VSTest).

Proven experience in automation testing, test-driven development, or API testing.

Minimum five years of experience writing SQL or other query language.

Minimum five years of experience in manual testing.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python.

Experience with Azure DevOps, Micro Focus Quality Center, qTest, or other Test Management tools.

Experience interacting with development, project management, and business partners.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Certification in Test Automation.

Experience with mobile application testing, Kubernetes, and Native Cloud microservices architecture.

Experience with continuous integration (CI).

Experience working in the Financial or Insurance Industries.

Experience working in Agile methodology.

Experienced working in a matrixed environment.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

This position is hybrid with three days in the office per week.

Locations include Philadelphia PA, Parsippany, NJ, or the home office in Wilkes-Barre PA
