OneMain Financial is seeking a highly experienced Lead UX Designer to play a pivotal role in defining the user experience for our loan origination platform and customer-facing tools and applications. In other words, how might we distill complex business processes and capabilities into simple and efficient experiences for employees and customers alike? As a key member of the UX design team, you will collaborate cross-functionally to develop innovative, user-centric solutions that enhance the loan origination experience and answer that very question.

Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and create impactful solutions Participate in the product strategy process including planning, brainstorming, and roadmapping by providing Design and UX input in ideation and decision-making forums. Conceptualize and create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively refine designs Participate in establishing and maintaining Design Systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all applications Work closely with our technology partners to implement designs and ensure alignment with design specifications and User Centered design best practices and methodologies Be an advocate for Human-Centered Design principles, unafraid to ask questions and ready to take risks that deliver value for users Give and solicit feedback from other designers and partners through regular reviews, critique, and workshops. Mentor and guide junior designers, contributing to their professional growth and team success Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field or equivalent professional experience Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience designing building web and mobile experiences Strong portfolio demonstrating an outcome-focused, innovative design process Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc. Working knowledge of front-end concepts for dialog with engineering partners Proven track record of working in Agile environments, delivering high-quality designs within sprint timelines Experience with generative research and creating solutions supported by strategic insights Experience with evaluative testing methodologies and UserTesting or similar tools to conduct tests Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams Experience building inclusive, accessible experiences and WCAG 2.2 guidelines Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in the financial industry, especially lending Previous experience working on complex, internal business apps with high information density Strong team player with exceptional empathy and a positive attitude Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects concurrently Additional Information:

Position is fully remote Iterative prototyping and testing, experience designing complex applications, great communication; Potential of conversion to full time employment
