As a Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, technical, and business teams to understand, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. This role focuses on optimizing processes, supporting various business applications and platforms, and facilitating the effective implementation of digital solutions for the legal team. How You'll Create Possibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Collaborate with functional and technical teams to develop and drive digital solutions in various business domains within the Legal functional area.

•Assist functional team in managing Sharepoint sites and workflows critical to the Legal team processes.

•Support IP Analytics application and enhancements for the Legal and Technology team usage.

•Assist with the business adoption of Docusign for within the Legal and Sourcing functional teams and process improvements.

•Support the legal team in eDiscovery requests by coordinating efforts within the DT organization to fulfill the eDiscovery data request.

•Understand and document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.

•Serve as the primary liaison for specific business areas primarily the Legal Team, ensuring the alignment of business objectives and technology solutions.

•Engage in project management tasks, including requirements gathering, sprint planning, and coordination with relevant teams.

•Advocate for optimization initiatives, including automation, system reliability, and modernization.

•Manage incident support for key business applications, liaising with vendors and cross-functional teams as needed.

•Participate in the testing and validation of developed solutions, ensuring they meet business needs.

•Drive efficiency in project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

•Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation, including use cases, functional specifications, and test cases.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a technology-related domain.

•Previous experience in business analysis, project management, or a related area.

•Strong collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.

•Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)

•Experience in project implementation from requirements gathering through design and testing.

•Ability to communicate effectively and cross-functionally

Completion of GE Appliances' DLDP program

Preferred Qualifications:

•Exposure to specific business areas or domains including legal team processes, Sharepoint sites, and workflows.

•Experience in working in a global & matrix environment.

•Experience with project implementation

•Prior experience technical application development with some skills in Sql, Pl/Sql, java, Oracle DB, Springs and Struts etc.

•Experience in project implementation from requirements gathering thru design and testing.

•Experience managing Project Tasks in Smartsheets/Service-Now
