DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
A clinical staff member who is responsible to assist the Employee Health Registered Nurse in providing an environment that is free of communicable disease and to provide ongoing programs pertaining to the health and wellbeing of the employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
Graduated from an accredited school for Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
Current Illinois Certified or Registered Medical Assistant required with renewal according to State requirements.
Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Previous Employee Health or Occupational Medicine experience preferred.
Strong computer knowledge and proficient in Microsoft word, Outlook, and Excel.
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
Personal
Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
Demonstrates the ability to make appropriate decisions using evidence based practices.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
