About This Opportunity

JOB TITLE : Human Resource Director POSITION TYPE : Full time CLASSIFICATION : Exempt This position is responsible for leading and overseeing labor relations and talent strategy within our manufacturing environment and corporate office. Responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive workforce excellence, foster positive employee relations, and ensure compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements. This leadership role will play a critical part in supporting the business by ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of a highly skilled and engaged workforce. Responsibilities: Organizational Culture & Business Partnership Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and respect among all employees. Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership and managers in handling complex employee needs and issues. Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, communication, and morale, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values. In partnership with People Operations team, Talent Development team and site leadership, ensure timely, efficient and value-driven execution of common practices such as performance management, annual compensation planning, employee engagement survey, compliance training, etc Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals responsible for labor relations, talent management, and workforce development. Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery across the organization. Serve as a member of the HR leadership team and the senior leadership team for the co-op Lead and support employees through change management, specifically in support of the implementation of the co-op's key initiatives Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and create talent strategies that align with organizational goals. Leverage the 6 B’s model of buy, build, borrow, bind, bounce, and boost. In partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, ensure recruiting strategies align with human capital needs. In partnership with Talent Development, ensure a strong focus on the development and talent management of front-line and functional leaders, a positive onboarding experience, and effective employee training programs to ensure employees have the skills needed for current and future roles. Lead efforts in employee retention, working to improve engagement, morale, and job satisfaction across all levels of the workforce Labor Relations Lead the development of a comprehensive long-term labor relations vision and strategy that is cost-effective for the company and balances work rules and flexibility in operations Lead the collective bargaining agreement negotiations for the organization, making progress in implementing the long-term strategy Provide guidance and support to management and HR team on union-related issues, including interpreting labor contracts, managing disputes, and ensuring adherence to labor laws. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, industrial relations or related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience, with a strong focus on labor relations and talent strategy in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 3 years of team leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate and develop a team. Experience in a unionized environment. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in food manufacturing Experience with the Teamsters union Change management certification or training Physical Setting

Hybrid work arrangement with primary location in Wisconsin; both food manufacturing and corporate office settings; ability to travel up to 2-3 days per week, which primarily includes regional day trips (car travel) with occasional overnight travel BENEFITS Because you and your family matter, Foremost Farms offers some of the best benefits in the area!
