VP Human Resources Telemedicine Provider Hybrid - San Francisco Based Candidates Only Competitive Salary ($225,000-$250,000) + Annual Bonus + Equity I am partnered with the fastest-growing telemedicine provider across the United States, who have grown by 100% YoY over the past three years. This start-up is VC backed by Y-Combinator and on a mission to bring quality, delightful primary care to everyone on the planet. They are looking for a VP of Human Resources to lead the people and culture function at the organisation and become part of the leadership team. Responsibilities: Develop and implement People and Culture strategies and initiatives to support growth and success in the US and Canada. Work with the Senior Leadership team and employees to provide HR guidance and direction to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Oversee all aspects of People and Culture Operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, learning and development and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Manage and scale the company’s compensation model and benefits programs, including salary negotiations, benefits administration and performance management. Manage employee relations including handling employee grievances, disputes and disciplinary actions. Develop and implement employee training and development programs to support employee growth and development. Lead and mentor the People and Culture team to ensure high performance and employee engagement. Implement and manage HR systems, processes and policies to support efficient and effective operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 7-10 years of HR experience in a Leadership role at a venture-backed company. Excellent knowledge of US and Canadian labor laws/legislation and a full understanding of HR best practices. Experience in the healthcare, health tech or health services verticals. Experience with workforces in multiple jurisdictions or countries. Experience with a large non-exempt hourly workforce. Experience using Lattice, Slack, Rippling, Notion, Lever, and Google Suite.
