VP Human Resources

Telemedicine Provider

Hybrid - San Francisco Based Candidates Only

Competitive Salary ($225,000-$250,000) + Annual Bonus + Equity

I am partnered with the fastest-growing telemedicine provider across the United States, who have grown by 100% YoY over the past three years. This start-up is VC backed by Y-Combinator and on a mission to bring quality, delightful primary care to everyone on the planet.

They are looking for a VP of Human Resources to lead the people and culture function at the organisation and become part of the leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement People and Culture strategies and initiatives to support growth and success in the US and Canada.
  • Work with the Senior Leadership team and employees to provide HR guidance and direction to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Oversee all aspects of People and Culture Operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, learning and development and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage and scale the company’s compensation model and benefits programs, including salary negotiations, benefits administration and performance management.
  • Manage employee relations including handling employee grievances, disputes and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Lead and mentor the People and Culture team to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
  • Implement and manage HR systems, processes and policies to support efficient and effective operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 7-10 years of HR experience in a Leadership role at a venture-backed company.
  • Excellent knowledge of US and Canadian labor laws/legislation and a full understanding of HR best practices.
  • Experience in the healthcare, health tech or health services verticals.
  • Experience with workforces in multiple jurisdictions or countries.
  • Experience with a large non-exempt hourly workforce.
  • Experience using Lattice, Slack, Rippling, Notion, Lever, and Google Suite.
