About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Asset Management to oversee a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, with a primary focus on retail shopping centers and other commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous evaluation of portfolio performance, the development and implementation of property-specific plans, and the execution of short-, intermediate---, and long-term strategies to enhance the value of the portfolio. This role requires a hands-on approach, including regular site visits, and a thorough understanding of market factors. The VP will also be involved in lease and loan document management, and budget preparation, and will be expected to have a strong background in real estate financial analysis, market analysis, and superior communication skills. Applicants for the VP of Asset Management position at the company should have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in asset management, with a significant focus on retail and commercial asset classes. A background in equity investments across various property types and regions, particularly in retail, is essential. The role demands proficiency in Yardi, ARGUS, and Excel, as well as the ability to create and implement asset repositioning strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be well-organized, and possess the ability to multitask and problem-solve independently. Educational credentials in a relevant field are also required.
