Job Title: Housing Specialist Assistant (Req. #39856)

Job Locations: City of Virginia Beach, Housing and Neighborhood Preservation - Section 8 Operating

Municipal Center, 2424 Courthouse Drive, Bldg. 18A

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay Rate: $15.31/hour.

Job Duties:

• Meet with clients, as assigned, to assist in the processing of their paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality.
• Enter data and participant information into the Housing Pro database, collect documents, and file appropriately in the electronic file.
• Must be able to meet specific deadlines on an ongoing basis, maintain organized records, manage multiple clients/files/records/deadlines accurately and efficiently.
• Must be able to work with diverse populations and de-escalate customer concerns.
