Pre Glue Line Operator - 2nd Shift
A Well established, 100% Doug Fir Lumber Mill, conveniently located in the heart of town, is seeking a Pre Glue Line Operator on 2nd shift!

Duties and Responsibilities for Pre Glue Line Operator:

• Grade each piece of lumber coming down chain by visually inspecting all four sides, and for lay-up
• Ability to hand apply glue on the finger joints with handheld finger joint applicator
• Ability to operate a small panel box, for out feed finger joint, rolls, and chain
• Know and utilize lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Report any potential machinery defects immediately
• Report any potential safety risks
• Keep work area clean
• Down time is clean up and minor maintenance time

Skills and Qualifications for Pre Glue Line Operator:

• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • This is a Very physical job, body conditioning will be necessary!
• Must understand fundamentals of Lam Beam Lay-ups.
• Communicate with co-workers and supervisor effectively.
• Work with and promote a teamwork environment.
• Promote and support a strong safety culture.
• Must be willing to fill-in on off-shift and overtime WHEN required

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday
2:00PM - 12:30AM
- Must be available to work Overtime or Fill-in on an Off-Shift, IF/WHEN mandated by client

Pay Rate:
$23.38 per hour - To Start
