Position Summary
Schedule: Part-time, on-call, Monday-Saturday. Assigned shifts may be 8 or 10 hours (must be available for both).
Packaging Technicians are essential to ensuring the quality and success of our beverage production. In this role, you will work across various positions on the production line, upholding the highest standards of integrity, quality, and safety. We're looking for individuals who are punctual, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment with like-minded, motivated peers.

Key Responsibilities
General Duties:
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections of packaging equipment and report hazards immediately.
- Assist in the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of bottling lines on packaging days.
- Work across different positions on the packaging line to maintain high-quality output.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, including proper capping, liquid levels, labeling, and secure packaging.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Support keg filling/cleaning and case flavor mixing as needed.
- Participate in training sessions on safety protocols, skill development, and operational procedures.
- Follow GMP policies in the production facility and promote adherence among team members.
- Understand and support SQF policies on pest control, allergen management, and sanitation.
- Report food safety or quality issues to the Quality Assurance Manager for resolution through corrective/preventative actions (CAPA).
- Forklift and pallet jack experience (preferred, not required).
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive, adaptable, and goal-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work extended shifts, overtime, and flexible hours based on operational needs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Work is performed in a busy production area with manufacturing equipment.
- Noise, dust, and temperature variations are common.
- Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally (with assistance).
- Safety awareness is critical due to crowded spaces and forklift traffic.
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks.
