Job Description:
Grignard Company is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our Industrial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cold calling, prospecting, building relationships with new and existing customers, and contributing to the overall growth of the company. The primary objective of the Inside Business Development Representative is to create a pipeline of qualified leads and close opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Engage with potential customers to understand their needs, present product solutions, and build relationships.
- Maintain and update CRM with accurate and detailed information on leads and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted sales strategies.
- Follow up with leads and prospects to ensure a smooth transition through the sales pipeline.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments.
- Attend and participate in Industrial Tradeshows
- Ability to travel to prospects and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or 5-7 years of outbound sales experience.
- Proven experience in utilizing an enterprise sales system in the industrial specialty chemicals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software is a plus.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Must be available to travel 30% of the time for sales-related purposes.
