JenKem Technology specializes in large scale GMP manufacture of high-quality polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivatives, PEG co-polymers, monodisperse PEGs, and custom synthesis and PEGylation services. The company supplies PEG derivatives for R&D, clinical trials, and commercial applications for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and diagnostics marketplaces worldwide since 2001.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage sales efforts for PEG products and PEGylation services, collaborating closely with the Business Development (BD) and Marketing teams to drive growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets, expand market share, and increase customer acquisition in the assigned territory.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing expert product knowledge and support throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to closing.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, effectively communicating their value proposition to clients and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services, addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and contribute to the company's growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide feedback on sales materials, promotional campaigns, and other collateral to ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior sales team members, sharing product knowledge and sales strategies to enhance team performance.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by sales and marketing leadership to support overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales within the life sciences, biotechnology, or related industries.
  • Deep understanding of PEG products and PEGylation services, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical details to clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software to manage sales activities and track customer interactions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address customer needs and resolve challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and support sales efforts.
