The AAMC is entering an exciting phase of digital transformation where the Digital Communications team will lead the effort to improve the organization's digital presence, including the revamp of our website, aamc.org. How will you make an impact? Work with internal customers and subject matter experts to identify and develop content needs and develop editorial and distribution plans Research, write, optimize, and build effective and engaging digital content Develop and update an organizational-wide content editorial calendar Closely monitor analytics and content performance to inform decisions and recommend future enhancements Write metadata and keywords to optimize content for search engine optimization Collaborate with UX team and Manager of Websites to maintain an information architecture Ensure that the organization's digital channels and platforms provide up to date, easily available and comprehensive product and/or service information Work with the Digital Project Management team on the development, integration, and release of content as well as working with designers to format final product Lead and collaborate with internal clients and colleagues to ensure consistency in style, tone, branding, suitability and quality of our digital presence Utilize project management tools, including Microsoft Project Plan, Visio, SharePoint, Basecamp, and Teamwork Provide consultation to colleagues and internal clients on industry standards and provide input to processes and procedures What will you bring to the role? Bachelor's degree preferred 5-7 years' experience researching, writing, and building digital content Experience with Content Management Systems, Acquia or Drupal is highly desired Compelling writing skills, with the ability to write with the appropriate tone and voice Skilled in SEO and content marketing/promotion Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize Willing and able to perform work functions remotely during off hours as required and/or in the event of emergency communication needs Google Analytics expertise and ability to analyze performance trends and metrics Ability to build and grow client relationships Familiarity with HTML / CSS code. Knowledge of user experience (UX), graphic design, and user testing strategies Ability to work both independently in a dynamic environment and comfortable with handling ambiguity Remote Work Eligibility This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US. Compensation Grade Range and Mid-Point Grade Range: $66,300.00 - $123,100.00 / Grade Mid-Point: $94,700.00 The above annual compensation range and mid-point are general guidelines. For candidates who meet the criteria, the AAMC's compensation philosophy is to target the midpoint of the salary range. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations. If a bachelor's degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
