Senior Cloud Endpoint Engineer

Responsibilities
Work with a team to build Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud-based infrastructure environments for clients that require compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171 and/or DFARS 7012 controls.
Interact with multiple clients daily as part of a team providing outsourced IT support to multiple industries.
Build, migrate, maintain, and improve customer cloud infrastructure deployments.
Maintain accurate records of time spent supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing operations of client environments.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of client assets.
Act as subject matter expert for modern security and endpoint management technologies, providing guidance to product development teams in support of secure product offerings.
Provide consultative support to managed security program on endpoint and identity security topics.
Promote service offerings and capabilities.
Occasional travel inside the United States to visit customer locations may be required.
Requirements
Domain expertise with enterprise endpoint technologies including (but not limited to) Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Defender for Endpoint, Windows 11 Experience with Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop. Office 365/Microsoft 365 migration experience Proficiency and knowledge with
PowerShell
or other configuration-as-code platforms. Ability to deploy and recommend topologies that support the Zero Trust security model, including multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, and passwordless authentication. Experience with migrating Windows-based networks including but not limited to file servers, email, databases to Office 365, Azure or similar cloud-based solutions. Advanced knowledge of core Windows platform technologies including (but not limited to) Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and IIS. Ability to design and implement repeatable cloud-based solutions to meet standards and client requirements. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to: Effectively communicate the scope of work, technical findings, or recommendations to a non-technical audience Produce readable, concise, and accurate written documentation required Strong customer service orientation; be able to maintain a professional demeanor and work well under pressure to handle critical issues in timely manner. Skill using a framework that focuses on clear problem identification and articulating technical designs. Ability to manage to metrics. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Preferred
Experience configuring systems to meet the compliance requirements found in CMMC, NIST 800-171 and/or DFARS 7012. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 SaaS components including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business. Experience providing outsourced IT support. Data backup and disaster recovery design capabilities (Veeam, Microsoft 365 Backup, AvePoint) Expert-level experience with Microsoft managed desktop and virtual desktop infrastructure environments Experience with remote monitoring and management tool sets (SolarWinds N-Able, SolarWinds N-Central, Altiris, or Kaseya) Experience working with helpdesk systems and professional services automation platforms (ConnectWise, ViewIT, Remedy, ServiceNow) Experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V) Experience with behavioral virus protection applications (Microsoft Defender, Sentinel One, Carbon Black) Education & Certification
