Name Congressional Budget Office ddress FHOB, 2nd & D Streets SW Washington, DC 20515 City Name DC State Name WA-Washington Zip Code If others (Address) Duration of the project Project Start Date: ugust 1, 2024 Project End Date July 31, 2029 No. of Openings 1 No. of Maximum Submissions 3 Job Description Minimum six (6) years of experience configuring and administering network technologies such as Cisco, managing site-to-site IPSEC connections to minimize and eliminate network downtime for mission critical applications. •Hands-on configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting for the Internet backbones, network fabric, data center interconnections, and remote access, which are traversing multiple platforms including on-premises and in the cloud, routing and switching, hardware and software, load-balancing VPN appliances, Wireless controller systems, Access points, and telecom equipment. •Ability to perform continuous monitoring of the network infrastructure by utilizing, managing, and configuring network monitoring tools. •Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining outstanding customer service skills. •Proficiency in explaining complex policies and protocols in simple terms. Skill set info The Contractor shall manage the Agency's day-to-day network operations through monitoring the system's health and performance, creating technical engineering workflows and diagrams, establishing key monitor and performance metrics, developing technical documentation, documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), standardizing the overall network daily operations, improving IT service delivery to CBO staff, and responding to urgent requests to restore service and address other high priority needs. Education Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field Certifications (if required) CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, CNE Documentation Required for submission Top Secret security clearance. Work Hours Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST except Federal holidays Work authorization required US Citizen Only Relocation is accepted Yes Remote work No dditional Notes if any Should have all technical skill sets as mentioned and good federal work experience.
