IT Support Specialist

to join our dynamic team! In this crucial role, you will be the primary point of contact for our user community, delivering top-tier technical support for a wide range of IT challenges. Your expertise will be essential in installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and software, ensuring seamless operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond to Help Desk service requests promptly, evaluating, prioritizing, responding, resolving, documenting, and tracking end-user incidents. Maintain timely and accurate helpdesk records using the ticket management system. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user desktop/laptop software/hardware, networked peripheral devices, and other networking software/hardware products. Troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity issues. Provide connectivity to wireless or wired infrastructure for desktops, laptops, printers, and all computer-related equipment. Support user remote access. Provide basic training to end users for proper use of computer equipment and software, including Microsoft products. Keep current on new IT technologies and provide guidance to less experienced personnel. Ability to lead small to mid-size projects. Work closely with other IT staff and subject matter experts, and end users to gather requirements, design applications, and troubleshoot issues. Solve problems efficiently and document how issues are resolved. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows; troubleshooting, registry modifications, Active Directory integration, desktop hardware, and common antivirus solutions. Basic networking skills. Experience with workstation imaging solutions, general networking technologies, remote desktop connections, and helpdesk ticketing systems. Understand basic networking concepts, including IP addressing, and switching. Ability to install network printers and peripherals. Experience working with and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft 365. Experience installing and troubleshooting engineering and digital applications such as Solidworks, PDMWorks, Draftsight, Adobe Cloud, etc. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex problems and develop and implement solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with the flexibility to meet time demands and focus on quality. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements
