Job Summary
The Document Control Supervisor position is essential to the success of the Document Control department. Document Control is responsible for the submittal and receipt of various documents pertaining to projects. All documents must be reviewed, logged, distributed and organized as applicable. This position will supervise the Document Control department ensuring accurate data entry and overseeing the preparation of submittal packages. This will include implementing, and coordinating the document control function to record, distribute, and file all customer, drafting, engineering, supplier, and construction documentation.
Essential Functions
Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."

Interface with Project Managers and Engineering to establish the project specific Document Control requirements.
Interface with clients, both internal and external to establish and maintain the Document Control protocol.
Maintain the SharePoint and Adept Document Control repositories.
Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates and terminates subordinate personnel. Establishes department and individual goals/objectives and directs, and actively participates as necessary, subordinate personnel in achievement of responsibilities and objectives. Prepares and manages scope, budget and schedule for projects or assignments.
Supervise Document Control personnel, including prioritization of projects.
Proficient with data entry.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook and databases.
Prepare and issue document packages in accordance with customer requirements and project schedules.
Process incoming documents from clients and vendors and distribute in a timely fashion.
Keep all projects logs up to date and accurate for the project teams' usage.
Review and maintain project schedules with Project Managers.
Review documents for accuracy and collaborate with members of other departments if revisions are needed.
Attend client meetings/conference calls.
Participates in and supports Company-wide initiatives.
Performs other related duties, as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Records Management, Business Administration or related area preferred.
6+ years' related experience in the construction/oil and gas industry, or minimum of 10 years' related experience if no degree.
Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Familiarity of engineering prints, procedures and databases are desired.
Excellent organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills and working well under pressure required.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Communicates a strong sense of urgency about solving problems and getting work done.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Adobe Pro and FTP sites such as SharePoint and ability to maneuver through various client sites.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high paced environment.
Experience with a document control software such as ADEPT strongly preferred.
Cooperates with other team members; interacts with individuals at all organizational levels in professional manner.
Demonstratives a proactive approach and consistently positive demeanor.
Team oriented attitude. Willing to help support all departments if needed.
Overtime and travel may be required.
