Job Description:

The Senior Analyst, Sales US Equities role includes maintaining a book of accounts and direct relationships with Sell Side firms, proprietary firms and institutions. It also includes the ability to apply quantitative techniques to present information and solve business problems for customers.

Position Summary:

Performs a combination of the following duties according to departmental guidelines:

  • Serve as primary contact for a subset medium to large-sized member firms to create and advance a relationship of service and trust that results in increased order flow.
  • Prepare for client meetings and follow-ups.
  • Attend internal and external meetings, conferences, and conference calls to support Account Coverage team efforts to sell current and new products
  • On occasion, presents at conferences and events
  • Foster member relationships.
  • Create reports (ad hoc and recurring) and analyze data for purpose of cost and member analysis. Make recommendations to management based on the report analyses
  • Interact with outside departments on new business initiatives.
  • Develop knowledge of Cboe technology, including but not limited to connectivity, order types, routing strategies in effort to support and identify needs of member firms and prospective members.
  • Collaborate within team to shape and present requirements for new products or product modifications to other internal teams including Markets, Technology, Legal and Marketing.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years, preferably within a financial services firm, especially with electronic trading, market structure and quantitative analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of laws, exchange rules and regulations as they apply to public companies and the financial industry.
  • Knowledge of equites and overall market structure.
  • Competency in one or more statistical software packages (such as Salesforce or Tableau) commonly used for data analytics is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to interact with internal and external contacts.
  • Periodic travel as needed between Cboe offices and for client meetings and industry events.
  • Facilitates presentations to all levels, both internally and externally
  • Should possess strong analytical and research skills. Intellectually curious.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other business related software.
  • Regular attendance at the work place in a traditional office environment is required.
  • Coach and develop junior team members
Education and Licenses:
  • Undergraduate or graduate level degree preferably in Business Administration or Finance, or quantitative discipline such as Computational/Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Financial Economics or Engineering, Operations Research and Applied Math, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $109,650-$135,450. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time. If you live in one of the following areas or if you work in a Cboe office in the following areas, the range may be higher according to the geographic differentials listed below:

US Geographic Differentials:
  • 110%: Austin TX, Chicago IL, Denver CO, San Diego CA
  • 115%: Los Angeles CA, Seattle WA
  • 120%: Boston MA, Washington DC
  • 125%: New York City NY
  • 130%: San Francisco CA


Within the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
