Job Description
JOB DUTIES (Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities):
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot DTA Midrange applications code using JAVA, SQL,
XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc.
• Develop, maintain and update program code as needed to address issues and defects.
Modify existing software programs to correct errors and improve performance.
• Research, analyze and document reports, batch, and web-based processes.
• Unit test software applications for optimal performance.
• Consult with Business Analysts for clarification of needs and analyzing requests for new
systems/programs, or requests for maintenance, to determine feasibility, input/output
procedures and required systems output.
• Comply with agency standards, and as required by Unit Manager/Supervisor/Director.
• Solve technical issues and provide support to business team.
• Store, retrieve and manage data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
• Comply with all Identity Group policies and procedures; Maintain confidentiality of
Company & associate information.
• Provide production support that includes evaluate defects, investigate cause and come up
with solutions to address defect.

REQUIRED SKILLS (Special Skill Set, Abilities, Knowledge):
• Experience working with Eclipse (commonly used plug-ins and debug techniques), Oracle
Toad, Jira.
• Expertise in database concepts and working knowledge of SQL and Stored Procedures.
Experience with Oracle, Unix Shell script, Stored Procedures, Complex SQLs tuning.
• Strong backend experience to develop data layer using at least one of the frameworks like
Hibernate, JPA etc.
• Extensive technical experience and development expertise in Core Java, J2EE, JSP,
Servlets, Struts, Web services, Spring, Hibernate, Java Script, JQuery, SOAP, REST
services and AJAX.
• Expertise in tuning all tiers of applications on JEE platform.
• Communicating and presenting alternatives, taking direction and feedback from
stakeholders, staying organized and managing your time effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Bring a creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional
approach to time, costs and deadlines.
• Possesses an aptitude to learn additional technology platforms as needed to support
strategic initiatives.
• Ability to determine and plan for new system installation or modification of an existing
system.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in Agile application development.
• Experience with eligibility rules engine is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Years' Experience, Certificates):
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in solution design and hands on development of web applications.
• Health and Human Services domain experience is a plus.
