Position:  Assistant Project Manager

This position reports to the Project Executive. Candidates must be reliable and professional with a can-do attitude. Candidate must have a strong work ethic, professional appearance, and demeanor, along with a strong knowledge of all trades.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to:

  • Create Procore project set up files and manage the directory.
  • Upload and manage all drawings and specs on Procore.
  • Create AIA owner contracts and subcontracts.
  • Create purchase orders for material suppliers.
  • Create change orders for owner and subcontractors.
  • Manage insurance certificates for owner and subcontractors.
  • Request Performance and Payment Bonds when applicable.
  • Submit paperwork and drawings for permits.
  • File Notice of Commencement for projects on DGS website when applicable for Liens.
  • When permits and reviewed drawings are received, scan into Procore for record.
  • Print Drawings for PM and jobsite Supers.
  • Create and manage all submittals in Procore.
  • Submit samples to architects for review in conjunction with Procore.
  • Manage Certified payroll reports on any prevailing wage or HUD projects.
  • Manage any CRIZ or NIZ paperwork when project is in the specified zone.
  • Manage any RACP grant paperwork when owner has received the state grant.
  • Provide any DOH documents required for Health Care projects.
  • Provide any closeout documents for Cities and Townships for Certificate of Occupancy.
  • Manage and provide Closeout Documents to owner Warranties, O&M, As-Builts.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Procore and Building Connected is a plus.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks, communicate well, and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally.
  • Must exhibit Boyle’s commitment to a safe workplace and worksite.
  • Must ensure implementation of all Boyle Construction Inc. safety documentation.

Qualifications and Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to follow all contract document requirements.
  • Must be self-motivated and punctual.
  • Construction background and experience preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and able to meet deadlines.

Essential Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit or stand in a stationary position for approximately ninety (90%) percent of a workday.
  • Ability to bend and lift 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an environment which may include fumes, odors, chemicals, sawdust, and ash (if visiting an active jobsite).
