About The Role:

The National Sales Trainer is a key leadership role responsible for designing, delivering, and managing comprehensive sales training programs for Arbor Homes. This individual will focus on developing the skills, knowledge, and performance of the sales team through tailored training sessions, ongoing coaching, and hands-on field engagement. The trainer will ensure the sales team is proficient in leveraging technology tools, including Kova and HubSpot, and equipped to deliver exceptional customer experience.

This position requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills to drive sales excellence and support the company's commitment to providing an exceptional homebuying journey.

What Will You Be Doing?

Training Program Development
  • Design, implement, and manage engaging sales training programs for both Sales Associates and Community Sales Managers.
  • Develop and update the New Home Sales Training Syllabus, including modules on:
    • Product Knowledge
    • Sales Presentation
    • CRM and Lead Management in HubSpot
    • Purchase Agreement/Processes in Kova
    • Financing and Affordability
    • Industry and Company Overview
Coaching and Development
  • Provide ongoing and intensive coaching, training, and feedback to sales team members.
  • Regularly spend time in the field working directly with the team to enhance their overall sales skills development.
  • Conduct role-playing exercises, shadowing opportunities, and real-time feedback sessions.
Field Engagement and Oversight
  • Visit and inspect sales offices and communities regularly to identify opportunities for operational and presentation improvements.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to implement changes that improve efficiency and team performance.
Technology Proficiency
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in Kova and HubSpot, guiding the sales team in effectively using these tools for lead management, pipeline organization, and customer engagement.
  • Ensure consistent use of CRM systems to track customer interactions, personalize communication, and drive data-driven decisions.
Sales Leadership and Innovation
  • Partner with leadership to align training strategies with company goals and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor strategies to continuously improve Arbor Homes' sales approach.
Performance Metrics and Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to assess training effectiveness.
  • Provide detailed reports to leadership on training outcomes, team development progress, and areas for further focus.
What Will You Bring?
  • Proven experience in sales training and coaching, preferably within the homebuilding or real estate industry.
  • Expertise in using CRM systems (HubSpot) and operational tools (Kova).
  • Strong understanding of the homebuying process, financing options, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to sales offices and communities.
  • Passion for fostering growth, innovation, and excellence within a team.
