Job Overview: The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of leadership development programs, managing the Learning Management System (LMS), and assisting with performance management processes. This role focuses on ensuring employees have access to effective learning resources and developmental opportunities, while contributing to the alignment of individual performance with organizational goals.
This role is a part of the HR Business Partner and Talent Management team, reporting to the Manager, Talent Management.

Primary Responsibilities:
Talent Development Support:
- Assist in the design and implementation of leadership development programs aimed at enhancing the skills of emerging and current leaders.
- Assist in building ad hoc talent development trainings and materials to meet evolving business needs.
- Support the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs.
- Help track the progress of leadership development initiatives and collect feedback to improve future programs.
- Coordinate targeted development opportunities for high-potential employees.
- Maintain a talent development training calendar for the company.
- Maintain and administer the Workday LMS, ensuring that training programs and courses are up-to-date and accessible. Training courses include annual compliance training, leadership development training, and onboarding experiences.
- Assist in the upload and organization of new learning content on the LMS.
- Provide technical support to employees and managers navigating the LMS and troubleshooting any issues.
- Monitor LMS activity and generate reports on course completions, engagement, and learner feedback.
- Provide talent management support and training to build end user knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following key areas: Talent Reviews and N-Box Calibration, Succession and Performance Management, Assessment/Selection, and Competency Management.
- Assist in the coordination and communication of the talent management cycle (e.g., goal-setting, performance reviews, feedback processes, talent reviews, etc.).
- Support managers in utilizing tools and frameworks to assess and drive employee performance.
- Help track talent data and compile reports to identify trends and development needs.
- Assist in the design of performance improvement plans and career development pathways for employees.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and development activities.
- Manage logistics for learning events, including booking venues, preparing materials, and communicating with participants.
- Assist in the creation of promotional materials to encourage participation in talent development programs.
- Collect and analyze feedback from training programs, performance reviews, and leadership assessments.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on training progress, completion rates, and performance trends to relevant stakeholders.
- Use data insights to recommend improvements in learning content and performance management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in talent development, learning & development, or performance management.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and performance management tools, preferably Workday.
- Comfortable with building company-wide and executive facing materials, preferably with strong PowerPoint skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives.
- Comfortable using data to track progress, identify trends, and report results.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage logistics for learning and development programs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Full-time position, preferably located in Dallas, Texas
- Occasional travel may be required for training sessions or events.
