Overview: LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our client's firm to provide exceptional services to clients navigating family law matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law processes and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in family law cases.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Prepare summaries of case files and provide updates to attorneys as needed.
  • Assist in billing and maintaining accurate records of billable hours.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or paralegal certificate; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Details:
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire
  • Compensation: up to $95,000 annually
  • Benefits provided by company.


Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
