Overview : LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our client's firm to provide exceptional services to clients navigating family law matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law processes and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and mediations. Draft and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and agreements. Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information. Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible. Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in family law cases. Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances. Prepare summaries of case files and provide updates to attorneys as needed. Assist in billing and maintaining accurate records of billable hours. Qualifications:
Associate's degree or paralegal certificate; Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law preferred. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Details:
Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: up to $95,000 annually Benefits provided by company.
Pay Details:
$70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
