Solugenix is assisting a client, in their search for a
Business Analyst . This is a contract to hire opportunity based out of Irvine, CA (Hybrid).
This role will focus on technical aspects of product development and is responsible for understanding and communicating the needs of stakeholders. Will be responsible for performing quality assurance, automating workflows, and assisting the IT Director to oversee the JIRA based ticketing system to build bi-weekly Sprints for the development staff. This role involves analyzing complex business processes and data to identify opportunities for efficiencies, and translating those insights into mockups, diagrams, as well as functional and requirements documents.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science. 3 - 5 years of previous experience as a Business Analyst or similar role. 5+ years of experience in analytics and systems development. Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio. Proven ability to manage projects and user testing. High proficiency in SQL and database management. High proficiency in technical writing, generating reports, and processing documentation. Experience with data visualization. Skills:
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights. Be detail-oriented, results-driven, and team-player. Possess the ability to manage details and timelines for multiple simultaneous complex projects. Demonstrate the ability to work with technical and non-technical team members with varying communication styles, both locally and remotely. Understanding of software security principles, SOC2, and PCI DSS compliance is preferred. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze new business requirements and enhancement requirements. Evaluate, analyze, and communicate system requirements on a continuous basis. Maintain business systems processes, including bi-weekly status reports to all appropriate parties. Ensure that business needs align with product capabilities. Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow, and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancements. Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with efficient and effective communication at every level. Participate in the design of functional, integration, and regression test plans for new application functionality, product releases, and enhancements. Lead meetings to demonstrate new functionality to business users seeking input. Required to gain an in-depth understanding of various systems, features, and functionality.
Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $90,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
