Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Software Engineer with a strong focus on React to join our growing engineering team in Boston. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the user-facing components of our web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional passionate about creating intuitive, performant, and visually appealing user experiences. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and responsive web components using React and modern JavaScript.
Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional, high-quality user interfaces.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring excellent performance across various devices and browsers.
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices, including testing and version control.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React. Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with state management tools like Redux, Context API, or similar. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TypeScript. Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. Exposure to design systems and tools like Storybook or Figma. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices. Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello. Benefits:
