Qualifications:
- High school diploma, Bachelors degree preferred, with course work in computer science, information systems or another technology related field or equivalent experience.
- Superior computer skills including PC hardware, software installation and maintenance.
- Superior skills in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
- An understanding of how to use and implement interactive classroom technologies.
- Good understanding of audiovisual equipment and management.
- Experience in maintaining servers or network switches is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot laptops, chromebooks, ipads, interactive whiteboards, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently and team-based.
- Ability to work with administration, faculty and staff.
- Ability to utilize time and prioritize work assigned.

The Technology Support Specialist role within the Technology Department encompasses the following responsibilities:
Deliver school and district-based instructional and informational technology support to educators and administrators. Perform setup, configuration, and maintenance of Chromebooks, PCs, Macs, software, and peripherals. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer equipment, including Chromebooks, PCs, Macs, interactive whiteboards, and related devices. Provide dedicated technology support to an assigned building and offer support to other district buildings as needed. Manage and support audio/visual equipment within the assigned building and across the district. Assist teachers and office staff with the adoption and effective use of new and existing technologies. Demonstrate familiarity with student information systems and learning management systems, which is highly desirable. Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Terms of employment:
12 month, full-time position to be determined in accordance with the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement to begin as soon as possible.
