POSITION SUMMARY The M&A Senior Director will play a key role in driving the inorganic growth strategy at Cardone Ventures. You will be responsible for managing the 10X BuySell team, which provides M&A education and advisory services to Cardone Ventures’ clients. You will be involved with managing due diligence, integration planning, and execution phases for clients’ and Cardone Ventures’ strategic acquisitions. You will also be involved with portfolio monitoring and performance for CV’s balance sheet portfolio. This individual is accountable for driving and ensuring the timely, quality delivery and completion of cross-functional initiatives aligned with the strategic company objectives. Key stakeholders include the cross-functional leadership teams at Cardone Ventures and the acquired companies. SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Supporting the 10X BuySell team to develop into a world-class M&A team that leads successful transactions from initiation to closure, ensuring that the deal is completed efficiently and meets the client’s goals. Maintaining long-term relationships with clients who understand the value of 10X BuySell and have confidence in the service. OBJECTIVES Support multiple integration projects simultaneously with proactive research and industry insight. Structure, negotiate, and finalize deals, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and financial constraints. Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities in targeted sectors. Organize, strategize, and lead the acquisition due diligence process from start to finish. Identify any integration gaps and create integration plans with measurable deliverables and timelines. Establish and run day-to-day integration mechanics, planning, and implementation processes. Be involved in designing new organizational structures, integrating systems, overhauling operations, consolidating products and services, etc. Assist with the launch of functional integration teams so they understand their charters and are organized for success. Assist in the development of a communication plan for employees in both companies and all other stakeholders. Oversee contract creation and review in collaboration with Corporate Counsel and Partnerships Executives. Conduct business valuations to determine sale value, determine partner ownership, and understand growth potential. Manage tracking/maintaining client call log time in Harvest and client information in the company CRM for transparency historical records. Review financial models, business plans, and analyses prepared by the team to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with strategic objectives. Conduct expert-level research and analysis to support decision-making and deal execution. Manage the pipeline of potential acquisitions, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and timely progression through the deal cycle. Lead the development of comprehensive business plans that outline strategic objectives, financial projections, and integration pathways for potential acquisitions. Coordinate all transaction workstreams across due diligence, legal, finance, and integration teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient deal progression. Assist in developing and delivering educational content focused on M&A for Cardone Ventures’ live events and training sessions, enhancing client knowledge and engagement. Support the Business Acquisition Club by contributing expertise, leading discussions, and providing actionable insights on acquisition entrepreneurship to club members. COMPETENCIES Ability to work cross-departmentally through proactive communication and strategy, ensuring joint venture mergers/acquisitions are seamlessly transitioned to applicable operating teams. Knowledge of private equity including how to manage different equity & debt financing work streams and how to deal with management teams. Possess advanced knowledge of M&A strategy. Advanced industry research and competitive analysis skills. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in business valuations. Understanding of elements needed to draft a contract. Technology consolidation and integration expertise. Strong negotiation ability when speaking with potential clients or partners. Advanced financial acumen to assist with due diligence, integration, and performance measurement. Understanding of and ability to apply change management and transformation approaches. Analytical ability to develop surveys and other feedback/interview tools and extrapolate results. Strong storytelling ability to communicate complex M&A concepts in a relatable, engaging manner, making strategic insights accessible and impactful for clients and team members. Proficiency in developing graphically engaging presentations, memos, and other materials that effectively communicate key insights and enhance audience understanding. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE At least 5 years’ experience in a business development, M&A, or investment banking role. Home Services, Healthcare, Professional Services, Technology (IT, Cyber, Software), and/or Consumer industry experience is a plus. CFA or FINRA licenses are a plus. Advanced degree (MBA, JD, M.Sc.) is a plus. 10X TOTAL REWARDS Medical, dental, and vision for FT positions and their dependents.
