Maintenance Supervisor- Detroit MI

Description:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the mechanical and electrical equipment at the Detroit, Michigan chemical manufacturing facility. The position is a part of a team that produces high quality chemicals and prides itself in its excellent safety record. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing the activities in the maintenance department in a safe and cost-effective manner. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be heavily involved in managing shutdowns and supporting capital projects.

EHSS RESPONSIBILITIES Uphold the standards of the ACC Responsible Care Management System Ensure all EHSS policies, guidelines and standards are practiced and enforced OSHA Process Safety Management program 29 CFR 1910.119 EPA Risk Management Program 40 CFR Part 68 DHS Appropriations Act of 2007 CFATS program All other applicable regulatory requirements as they apply Incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis to prevent recurrence Complete and conduct applicable training as needed Audit participation and completion of corrective actions JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIIES

5 years of experience in maintenance Experience working in a PSM and RMP facility Experience in applying industry RAGAGEPs - Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (Chlorine Institute, API, NACE, ISA, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, etc.)
