About This Role:
The PMO Manager will be responsible for creating the PMO from the ground up, defining methodologies, frameworks, and standards to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in project management and PMO leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing the PMO Develop and implement the PMO's vision, mission, and objectives. Define and communicate the PMO's role, scope, and responsibilities within the organization. Design and implement PMO processes, standards, and policies to ensure consistency and quality in project delivery. Evaluate and select appropriate project management tools and software. Perform Project Manager duties while PMO is being established. Project Governance and Methodology
Establish a robust project governance framework, including project approval processes, risk management, and issue resolution mechanisms. Develop and promote the use of standardized project management methodologies, templates, and tools. Ensure alignment of project management practices with organizational goals and strategies. Resource Management
Identify and allocate resources effectively to ensure project success. Develop and maintain a resource management plan, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and utilization tracking. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among project managers and team members. Project Portfolio Management
Manage the project portfolio to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities. Monitor and report on the status of projects, programs, and portfolios to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure effective prioritization, balancing project demands with available resources and organizational capabilities. Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and business unit leaders. Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns or issues promptly and effectively. Performance Measurement and Reporting
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the PMO and project delivery. Prepare and present regular reports on project performance, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders. Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. Who you are:
7+ years of project management experience in financial services, preferably banking. Proven experience in establishing and managing a PMO within a complex organizational environment. Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects and programs, preferably in financial services. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent required What We Offer:

In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
