Project Manager IV&V PMP
for a project with one of our California State clients. Qualifications Mandatory Qualifications A valid/current Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from PMI. At least three (3) years of experience supporting the requirements of the California Project Approval Lifecycle process (PAL) Stages 2, 3, and 4 or similar stage gate experience, in support of a complex IT project and a budget exceeding $1.5 million in implementation costs. At least five (5) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible Project Manager project experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools, with a project duration greater than one (1) year and a budget exceeding $1.5 million in implementation costs. As a PM, at least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity. Two (2) years’ experience providing IV&V services. Experience providing oversight of Stage 2, 3, and 4 of the Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL). Experience providing IV&V services to California State entities performing the following tasks: Experience working in an IV&V capacity on IT enterprise projects with regard to the California Department of Technology Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) process. Desirable Qualifications Three (3) years of experience performing IV&V services for a commercial off the shelf (COTS), modifiable off the shelf (MOTS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and cloud technology product and a system integration project for a governmental agency including validating requirements, interfaces, traceability, and testing.
