Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations. Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of production machinery, including but not limited to machines, conveyors, and related equipment. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment modifications. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts, ensuring availability while minimizing excess stock. Order and procure necessary parts and tools, maintaining cost-effectiveness and timely availability. Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime. Lead, mentor, and manage maintenance team. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D.; 6+ years leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or flexible packaging environment; 3 to 5 years experience as a Millwright; 4 to 6 years electrical and machine experience; Technical school or skilled trade program preferred.
