Rochester, New Hampshire POSITION PURPOSE:

The purpose of a Technology Implementation Specialist is to improve operational efficiency, cost control, security, and ensure that all students and staff have access to the necessary tools for learning. This position would also maintain and inventory Chromebooks and other devices in a school system is vital for It also helps in managing repairs and replacements, ultimately ensuring that the technology infrastructure is sustainable and aligned with the school's educational goals.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Able to manage and optimize Google Workspace for Education environment to include: account management for staff/students, email distribution lists, end of year account cleanup, password management support, chrome/chromebook management/support. Able to run more advanced Google Workspace tools such as Security Center. Experienced in managing settings for Users and Chromebooks in Google Workspace for Education. Evaluate new online educational tools to ensure compliance with student data privacy laws and vet programs using SDPC. Be familiar with and able to manage all aspects of iPads through our district mobile management system, Mosyle. Manage Chromebook and iPad inventory. Use district ticketing system to assist and respond to staff questions. Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district and self-selected professional growth. Ability to communicate and be patient with computer users of diverse ability levels and to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. Personable, organized, reliable, flexible and willing to learn and adapt to diverse demands. Perform other duties as may be reasonably assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have: Three to five years of successful experience in educational technology integration, policy/government, or management. Experience working with educators and school outreach. Ability to work collaboratively and independently and be a self-initiator. Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment, adaptable when managing multiple and shifting priorities, determining priorities independently managing multiple competing demands. Ability to maintain discretion regarding confidential matters. Strong belief in the district's mission, approach, and core values. Reflective, life-long learner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with school leaders, educators and students. Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and manage projects with a high degree of accuracy and limited direction. Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in education, policy/government or management or related field preferred.

This is a full time 52-week position that includes paid sick, PTO, and vacation days, and access to the city's health and dental insurance plans.

Pay: $45,000 per year
