Job Description Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Specialty: Therapy - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 08:00-17:00, Days; Every 4th weekend rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: PT License required
Certifications: Relevant certifications required
Must-Have: Prior experience preferred; preferably inpatient rehab experience
Job Description:
- Work in a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility focusing on specialized programs for patients with stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions requiring inpatient rehabilitative services. - Aim to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery with the goal of returning home as soon as able. - Contribute to maximizing the health, function, and quality of life for patients through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. - Treat common diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and amputation. - Must possess a personality fit for working in a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment. - Utilize electronic health records (EHR) effectively. - No float requirements. - Report for the shift at 8 am. - Wear any color scrubs. - Geriatric and adult patient population focus.
Ensure a professional and client-focused approach, supporting the team to deliver high-quality care throughout the patient rehabilitation journey.
