JT Logistics is hiring a Forklift Operator to efficiently move freight between delivery vehicles and warehouse locations. Using forklifts and pallet jacks, you’ll ensure materials are properly stored, maintain inventory records, and inspect goods and equipment for quality.

Key Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator:

• Unloading & Transporting (75%)

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Transport goods to designated warehouse locations.
  • Coordinate with team members to maintain workflow and meet production schedules.

• Recordkeeping (15%)

  • Track inventory using scanners and manual checklists.
  • Verify shipment quantities and report inconsistencies.

• Examining (10%)

  • Inspect goods for damage or quality issues and report defects.
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance, such as recharging batteries.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and adaptability.
• Good spatial orientation and driving skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift driving test within 2 weeks of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
