What Will You Do?
As a member of the Financial Audit Division, you will be assigned to a variety of diverse and challenging audit assignments, including the audit of Wisconsin's financial statements and the audit of the State's compliance with federal grant program requirements. Our financial audit assistants work with audit professionals to systematically examine the accounting records and financial statements of entities that receive public funds and perform reviews of government operations that promote good fiscal and management practices.
Salary Information
Salary is commensurate with candidate qualifications, certifications, and experience.

As a qualified candidate:
- You are able to maintain strict nonpartisanship.
- You have an Associate's degree in Accounting, with solid academic performance and a GPA of 3.0 or higher .
- You have knowledge of accounting principles and you have an interest in or experience working with financial data.
- You are able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- You are highly motivated, take initiative, and excel in meeting challenges.
- You possess strong attention to detail.
- You are able to effectively balance multiple tasks.
- You are able to develop positive working relationships with teammates and other colleagues.
