Accounting Manager
Shift: Full-time

Financial Management & Oversight:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate records for sales tax reporting, payroll, and other tax-related filings.
- Manage the month-end closing process, including the preparation of financial statements.
- Ensure all financial statements comply with accounting standards and are submitted on time.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive reconciliation package of all balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Prepare and maintain the cash flow statement, ensuring proper management of the club’s liquidity and financial position.
- Oversee daily and weekly cash management, ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs.
- Collaborate with department heads to streamline and simplify financial processes.
Operational & Administrative Support:
- Oversee HR-related functions within the department, including onboarding and collaborating with the PEO for benefits administration.
- Ensure accurate and efficient reporting through further exploration of automation and technology integration.

Competencies & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- Proven experience with bank reconciliations, sales tax, and payroll management.
- Ability to oversee and support AR, AP, and HR functions within a small team.
- Experience with onboarding processes and working with a PEO for benefits administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on collaboration and process improvement.
- Experience with financial software and an interest in exploring automation and technology.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with department directors and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
