The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking assistant, associate, and full professors to be part of its growing foot and ankle program.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at MCW includes 39 clinical faculty members, 5 active research faculty members, 29 advanced practice providers, 25 residents and 4 fellows. Affiliated clinical sites include Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW), Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC), Community Memorial Hospital, and several ambulatory surgery centers in SE Wisconsin. The faculty and APP’s provide more than 79,000 outpatient visits and 7,300 surgeries annually.
Successful candidates should bring strong clinical abilities, well-refined interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to MCW’s academic missions.
Position Requirements/Details:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
- Fellowship in subspecialty if applicable
- Ample opportunities in both academic and community-based practices
