Summary About the Position: This position is located in the Communications Division, DHA Special Staff in Falls Church, Virginia. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Advanced leave accrual may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Responsibilities Develop long-term marketing planning programs for the organization. Analyze conflicting input to obtain a consensus to meet marketing objectives. Articulate project timeline to leadership. Report project progress to supervisor routinely. Evaluate the accomplishment of the marketing program at the directorate and subordinate levels. Apply wide range of marketing methods to improve efficiency. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing marketing plans for campaign strategies; preparing reports on project progress for leadership; and formulating branding strategies for a global audience. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Accountability Oral Communication Strategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
